What A Great Accomplishment. I Think?
I have been wanting to make this post for a while but was looking forward to providing evidence of it. A month ago GSM&M contacted me about the possibility for them to use one of my photos for advertising purposes. I took some time to check up on them as a company, as soon as I saw their client list I about died. Lots of big names…this was legit. I worked out a quote for some different usages and we came to an agreement. An old photo is being used as an advertisement for the client Yellowpages.com. I got the check for the job today which was great but I can’t find an example of it being used anywhere. The ad could be anywhere so hopefully I can track it down soon for portfolio purposes.
It doesn’t stop there…
Stopped into Minsky’s in Westport for a sandwich. There was a drunk mumbling old man on my right and a copy of the Pitch on the left. I chose to interact with the Pitch. Flipping through the pages there wasn’t a lot that was keeping my interest until something seemed familiar. My photos! Some of the photos I took when Howl @ The Moon hired me on their opening day were being used.
It is fun to see work pop up here and there.
