Went out and did some shooting with friends from work. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Kristen did a really good job and Kelly came along to help us out. This process can be a blast when people relax and let go a bit. I got them together for a snapshot at the end. One interesting thing about Kristen. I can say with supreme confidence that I will never again be paid with a check that has a “My Little Pony” design on it. Hilarious, I can just imagine the look I am going to get from the teller at Commerce Bank.
The more success these paying gigs have the more it seems momentum is building with my photography and the goals I have set for it. Really exciting time.

Great work!! Is this your first paid shoot?

It is for this specific kind of shooting. I have done a lot of paid work in other areas but this is the first non candid portrait type session I have ever done. I have done a lot of event, sports, and some commercial shooting.

Where did you find that green brick wall?

Off the beaten path a bit where Southwest Blvd and Broadway meet. Around the corner from a construction zone.
