KC Zombie Walk 2008

April 30th, 2008 Posted in Thoughts

Ran across this on my twitter account. I am going to try really hard to make it out and get some photographs of this event.

(Via Official Website)

Our first Zombie Walk will be Saturday, May 10th, at 6 PM, in Westport. We’ll meet at the Sunfresh parking lot (4001 Mill Street). We’ll meet, we’ll walk, and at the end we’ll be at a Kelly’s Westport Inn. An informal pub-crawl will follow from there.

A Zombie Walk is pretty simple. A bunch of people show up in a designated place, on a set date and time…completely made-up as zombies. Its not about making money, selling products, or any of that. Its all about having fun and eating a few brains.

Besides this May 10th Zombie Walk, there will be big follow-up event in conjunction with World Zombie Walk Day on October 26, 2008. Register on the Ghost Vigil website for e-mail updates.

Some people are old-school-zombie people. But feel free to be creative. There have been Jesus Zombies, Santa Zombies, Cop Zombies, Nurse Zombies (those are always hot!), etc. Its completely up to you. There are only a few rules to follow.

Please help us get the word out about this event and the event’s MySpace page. The more zombies we have on May 10th, the more fun it will be!
