Keeping Up
I have some posts to put together but I never seem to get them started so look for a wrap up of my Wizards game experience soon. Plaza Art Fair was this past weekend and what a great experience it was. Inspiration at every corner. It was hard to take it in like I would have liked because I was with other people and they were treated it more like a social event, which it was but I was pretty focused on all the great work. I enjoyed it because at some points I would see work and think that I am really not far away. A kid that is a food runner at the restaurant I work at said he was playing the evening I was there so I thought I should check it out. I figured it would be some small tent far away playing god knows what for a little while. I would make a cameo and be on my way. Well you know what? Screw me for giving him the 3rd degree. It turns out he was with a band on the main stage and it was amazing. It was a blues type group he sang AND played guitar for. I was literally shocked. This kid is really quiet and generally when we talk it has something to do with him getting bread for one of my tables. He rocked up there, I am glad I got to experience it. We had a pretty fun group of people. Logan, Zack, Danny, Bettsie, Sandy, and Marcela. Lots of weird personalities and obscure references. Pretty tough to keep up with.
Anyone else see the “Bowe Show” on Sunday? The Chiefs are an interesting team this year. Maybe there is hope for them?
