McKinnie hears Chiefs’ trash talk (Via Twincities.com)

Article Last Updated: 08/10/2007 12:25:00 AM CDTMANKATO, Minn. - After practicing against them last week, Vikings left tackle Bryant McKinnie suddenly can’t wait until the next time he lines up opposite the Kansas City Chiefs.
During a broadcast of the HBO Series “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Kansas City Chiefs,” rookie defensive end Turk McBride said to a veteran teammate, “Their tackles are terrible. Every one is soft.”Told of the comment, McKinnie said, “Oh, please.
“That’s surprising,” he said. “But we get to play them again this year. So we’ll see. I’m going to remember that, though.”
On the show, McBride was shown beating two of the Vikings’ unheralded tackles, and he had a solid pass rush on McKinnie that wasn’t aired. But McKinnie is eager for the Sept. 23 game against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
“I don’t know what they’re going to do,” McKinnie said, “but I know what I’m going to do.”
I look forward to this season so I can post Turk in a Chiefs uniform.
