My time back to Kansas City has been good. It has been an adjustment living in a more urban type setting. For a while I felt pretty small being used to easy going towns but lately it feels like I have a better hold on the city and how best to get around, get along, and get things done. I haven’t focused on my photography skills as much as I need to. Hopefully some money stability and a less frantic work schedule (I put 13 freakin hours in today!) will allow me to get working on the stuff that is truely important. Sure, I have taken some good photographs here and there but it is the same old stuff I always do. Some unique perspective landscape\architecture shots with a slight creative slant. Yes, I like taking them and yes, I am proud of them but there is no reason for me to keep meandering in this safe zone doin work I have done a million times. I need to expand and get better…I used to want to do different stuff all the time. What happened to that drive?
