Maybe I am…maybe I am not…
I woke up about 8:00 am this morning and had a very distinct and sudden urge. Making my way out of my room and into the kitchen I mumbled some form of greeting to my roomie Matt and after getting the things I needed I walked out to back deck where a crisp cool amazing summer morning greeting me. After getting sat down I picked up a glass full of ice and poured a fresh Coke in it.
It was sooo good.
Just taking in the morning and having a little drink. I am not sure why I wanted a coke; I generally opt for some juice or milk like normal person but it really hit the spot.
I am going to try and take a little more time for myself each morning. Last summer’s job at Wood Brite took me to a lot of different people’s houses early in the morning and so many of them looked so relax and happy slowly taking in the day in their own certain way.

A few money issues. I will need to lock down the going out and the eating out for a little while to support the needed cash flow. Hopefully things will be more stable if I can tie up a few loose ends.
This is a problem that I could solve if I was just a little bit more responsible. Hopefully I can start making things happen.

This is a little post from a political discussion I was reading online. It was in response to a conservative who was going on about how the left’s mindset leads to happenings like that of this latest Sears Tower incident. It gave me a chuckle.
The argument is and has always been, “We are fighting them there, so we don’t have to fight them here.”
I’ve never heard your version…”We are fighting them there, so that we fight them less over here.”
or
“We are fighting them there, so that we may pass laws over here that make it easier to fight them over here.”

Last night I went to Romeo y Julieta after work with Larry, Jevnie, Deanna and some others. RyJ is a great place located above Bijans. You have to walk through the restaraunt to get there. Great atmosphere and impressive service. Everyone ended up crashing at Larry’s place when all was said and done. It was fun catching up with Jevnie and Deanna I hadn’t seen them since they got married less than a month ago. We were all talking when Larry fell asleep on a couch and Jevnie began snoring in a chair. That left only the bed. So…techinically I kind of slept with someone else’s wife but uhhh…ya know. Details.
Tonight is Carri’s 21st birthday at Brew Co. Megan is trying to round up a bunch of people to go so it looks like all of Megan and Carri’s friends plus my mini crew are going to do the Sunday night Brew Co\Art Bently music thing. Very excited. Lots of fun people.
No time to take the rest of my pictures and lay them out all nice on the front page. Click here for a link to the photos I was talking about the other day or click here for a slidedhow. Needless to say I am very happy with the set.

A large number of good photos came out of my time today. It is a great feeling. There is still some work to be done sorting and processing but I will throw up an unexpected picture of a country road. I love the way this all came together. Click he picture for a bigger version.
Much more to come soon…

This post was made a few days ago but got taken off for some reason by accident. Repost.
Megan and I spent some time together last week. It was a pretty laid back deal and I brought the camera along. I wasn’t sure if anything would turn out but I think there are a couple decent shots. Remember you can see a bigger version of each picture by clicking it.
