Why The Midwest’s Weather Is Worse Than East Coast’s

The weather here has been really rough. It is dropping the morale of the proffesionals and students that inhabit Springtown. I understand that people are snowed in and getting blizzard type weather on the east coast but I think the way our weather has been is just as bad.

Bear with me…

They know what to expect and they have adjusted to it. One day here it will be really pleasent. So much so that it is tempting to grab a pair of shorts and enjoy the amazing day. Do you know how fantastic it feels to enjoy that bit of refreshing weather after a Missouri winter? Just when you think life can’t get any better it becomes cold. We are talking the bitter cold that makes you yell and curse at your dashboard when you first get into your car and the seats chill your cheeks which leads to your whole body being cold. The nice weather from the day before is fresh in your mind and it is teasing you. The cold would not be as bad if I hadn’t tasted the warm weather. All I am need is a clean transition. Is this to much to ask?

Additionally, I will punch the next person who looks at me and says, “If you don’t like the weather just wait 10 minuets.” I wouldn’t have to much of a problem with it being said if the person didn’t look at me like I should react to what they said in a manner fitting a comment that is unique or funny.

I am begininning to see that I have a big problem with cliches. I think I take any anger I may have in my daily life and point them to people who use bad cliches.

It could be worse.

I saw your comment and that you pulled the new plugin. Was the plugin specifically for technorati tags? Or was it just for adding a new field?

And it’s very possible I don’t know what I’m talking about with the whole RSS thing. Because despite altering my RSS output, my tags aren’t showing up on technorati yet either :P

What it was doing was working with the keyword field. You could add keywords to a post and the plug in would generate and display the technorati tags from that. I read about putting them in the RSS feed. The only thing I don’t like about that is if you add them in that it only tags them based on the categories you have on your blog which I am not crazy about. I was interested in the manual ones.

Hrm, weird. Maybe I’m wrong then and it doesn’t have to be in the post text. I just noticed it wasn’t showing yours for some reason.

If it makes you feel any better, it’s sunny and beatiful every day here in AZ.
